Trend of long titles in Bollywood

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Chori - Chori Chupke – Chupke, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum and abounding more. One such accepted agency in these films is their continued titles. The trend of continued titles of the blur in Bollywood is actual old. Surprisingly, today additionally continued titles are adopted and admired by the filmmakers. Interestingly a few titles are called from the songs of yesteryears movies.

Although today’s adolescent and ambitious filmmakers are preferring unquie titles, but still there are a few filmmakers who like to stick to the trend of ‘long cine titles’, like Karan Johar’s accessible blur ‘My Name is Khan’ is a four chat abreast appellation film. KJo’s film’s like Kuchh - Kuchh Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, Kabhi alvida na kehna, all of them were 4 - chat titles, yet self-explanatory.

Apparently these canicule abbreviate and crisps titles are in trend or should we say Hinglish titles are in trend. But still filmmaker like Raj Kumar Santoshi has called his blur with continued appellation i.e., ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. With this it seems that there are filmmakers who still adopt continued titles for their films…take a look!
